Apprenticeship Grants for Employers

In November 2011 the Government announced the Youth Contract - a £1 billion package of support to encourage small and medium sized businesses to employ young people.

The National Apprenticeship Service will provide up to 40,000 Apprenticeship grants (for Apprentices aged 16 - 24 years) of £1,500 to organisations, (private and public sector), employing less than 250 employees recruiting their first 16 - 24 year old apprentice.  The priority is to use these grants to support those employers NEW* to apprenticeships (*not eligible if the employer has started an apprenticeship since April 2009).

To qualify for the grant the employer is required to recruit a 16 - 24year old who is living in England and not in full-time education.  However, this does not need to be a costly or time consuming process.  At HTP Training we offer a free service to help you market and recruite your Apprenticeship vacancies.

To find out more about how your business can benefit from this excellent opportunity contact Nicki Pakes at HTP Training on 01983 533926 or complete an online enquiry form.
