Hollybourne Hotels

Hollybourne Hotels is a group of individual 3 star hotels, conference and wedding venues in Farnham, Guildford and Haslemere in Surrey and Alton and Basingstoke in Hampshire.

HTP has been working with Hollybourne Hotels for several years now and currently work in all five of their hotels.

Training is discussed at all level’s from Directors to Chef’s, this way all staff understand who is working towards qualifications and how the staff are working together to achieve success at the hotels. The great communication and support they are given shows in the learner success throughout all the hotels and having completed 27 learners through Apprenticeships or T2G.

We have a strong commitment to training and development, of which apprenticeship provision is a big part. We have worked with other work based providers over the years but with HTP have been able to build a relationship based on mutual trust and a commitment on both sides that has the learner at its heart.

Our learners feel fully supported by HTP assessors and as a company we try to ensure our Managers or mentors support learner progress between visits, which, along with a range of internal training, supports apprentice learning and allows HTP to progress learners at a good rate.

HTP have always responded quickly and with understanding at any concerns and together we have a positive working relationship where we recognise that things can go wrong on both sides but by being open and working together things can be put right. This is positively refreshing!
