HTP is committed to the development of its staff and to offer the highest levels of advice and guidance to both learners and employers.

In 2002, HTP was awarded the prestigious Investors in People Award which was reaccredited in October 2005.

More recently, HTP gained the Matrix Award which is given to companies who can demonstrate that they offer consistent high levels of advice and guidance to employers and learners.

HTP has recently been chosen by the Learning and Skills Council to start working towards the new Action for Business Award which when achieved will give assurance to employers that HTP offers the highest levels of advice and service.

HTP is one of 60 training providers and colleges across the country who has been asked to test the new Quality Standard that is being introduced specifically around Employer Engagement.

The standard is designed to ensure:

• Employers are given correct advice and guidance
• Training solutions are developed to meet the needs of the employer
• Training providers are responsive to the needs of employers
• High levels of customer service are delivered across the organisation

The new standard offers a rigorous evaluation of a provider's capability and serves as the basis for distinguishing the best providers.

Following completion of the pilot phase, HTP will be going for formal accreditation of the new standard in September this year.
