Which subjects do HTP offer work based training in?

HTP offer a vast range of opportunities which means we can design development programmes to meet the needs of your business and individual members of staff. Our consultants will work with you, free of charge, to identify your requirements and design an appropriate training package. What are my responsibilities as an employer?

Before training commences with HTP you will be given a Guide for Employers on Work-Based Training which provides details of your responsibilities as an employer. For example, these include:

• Identify a member of staff to act as a mentor in the workplace and liaise with HTP
• Allow staff to attend the training away from the workplace when required
• Ensure your insurance cover covers all members of staff including Apprentices
• Provide a full induction into your premises and any necessary protective clothing or uniforms

HTP are able to assess eligibility for Government funding and access this where appropriate to support the costs of training.

How much does training cost?

It depends! HTP are able to access Government Funding for workbased training from The Skills Funding Agency. Eligibility depends on requirements and a candidate’s individual circumstance. Simply contact us on 01983 533926 and we will discuss how HTP can help with the costs of training.

How long does it take to complete a programme of training?

The length of training can range from ½ a day to 2 years depending on the needs of the business and individual members of staff.
