Training to a higher level

APPRENTICESHIPS

Hospitality

Hospitality is a fast growing, competitive industry. To stay ahead, businesses must offer better value for money and higher standards of food and customer service. As a result, more and more employers are demanding high-quality staff. Because of better training, career progression has become faster so there is no better time to get involved.

If you show commitment and the right attitude to work, you'll be able to progress quickly and make yourself a real asset to your employer. During your training you will build up a National Vocational Qualification in your occupational area at the appropriate level. The duration of the Apprenticeship will depend on the programme but will generally be between 9 and 15 months.

Hospitality - Professional Cookery

The Hospitality and Catering Industry is an important part of the regions economy and currently there is a shortage of trained chefs.

The prestige of being a top chef today is ever growing with the advent of regular, high profile media coverage. Quality food is becoming more important to the public as they become increasingly educated about the industry. In a competitive market, ensuring businesses deliver what consumers expect now means quality training has never been so important.

Chefs will always be in demand and can expect to earn a competitive salary receiving better benefits than those without qualifications.

HTP has been recognised by the Government as a Centre of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) which means even more choice for you as you can have the best of both worlds.
