Apprenticeships

Overview
Each year thousands of people in the UK embark on an Apprenticeship to start or progress their chosen career. An Apprenticeship will provide you with the opportunity to achieve nationally recognised qualifications that will make a real difference to you as a person – and develop your future prospects.
An Apprenticeship is a set of qualifications achieved while working and comprises a competency qualification (typically an NVQ), a knowledge qualiification certificate to demononstrate your underpinning knowledge and Key or Functional Skills in Maths, English and ICT.
HTP offers three levels of Apprenticeships:
- Intermediate Level Apprenticeship (NVQ Level 2)
- Advanced Level Apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3)
- Higher Apprenticeship (Level 4/5)
Most people start on an Intermediate Level Apprenticeship before progressing to an Advanced Level Apprenticeship, working towards higher level skills and perhaps becoming a supervisor or manager.
