If you have already decided upon the career you wish to follow but have not yet found a job, Programme Led Pathway (PLP) is the course for you.
On a PLP training programme, you will attend our training centre to start learning the theory of the job you wish to do. Additionally, we will help you find a job by arranging 'work tasters' with local employers.
The training that you will undertake will vary according to the career you wish to work in but will be interactive as far as possible. You will start working towards your NVQ units and have the opportunity to take appropriate short courses such as Health and Safety.
Whilst on a Programme Led Pathway you will receive Educational Maintenance Allowance (EMA). EMA is a weekly payment of £10, £20 or £30 a week depending on your household income. For more details on EMA click here
