Skills for Life

Many people can do their job quite adequately but perhaps are holding themselves back by their lack of skills in numeracy and literacy, a fact that many employers fail to recognise.

Skills for Life training is embedded into all of the training that HTP delivers. As well as the NVQs offered through Apprenticeships and Train 2 Gain, funding is available to allow employees the chance to gain up to date Maths and English qualifications.

HTP offers an assessment of an employee’s current working level for Maths and English and will then provide tailored training materials to help them achieve the national Adult Numeracy or Key Skills tests.
